Rental duration and extensions

The confirmed rental period begins on the agreed delivery date and ends on the agreed collection date. Extension requests must be approved before collection is due and may attract an additional charge confirmed in writing.

Delivery and collection

The customer must provide an accurate address, access information and an available contact person. Separate collection addresses and routes must be declared in advance. Failed delivery or collection caused by unavailable access, an absent contact or incorrect information may be rescheduled and may attract a reasonable additional fee confirmed by Shepherd.

Customer responsibility

The customer must keep crates secure, dry and reasonably clean; use them only for suitable moving contents; and return the quantity supplied. Crates may not be altered, sold, sublet or used for hazardous, illegal, wet or contaminating materials.

Damage, loss and cleaning

Damage, missing crates or cleaning beyond normal reusable-crate preparation must be reported promptly. Any charge must be based on the actual affected items and communicated to the customer; no unapproved deposit or replacement amount is implied by these website terms.

Cancellation and access

Cancellation or date changes should be requested as early as possible. The customer must disclose stairs, lifts, security procedures, parking limitations, carrying distance and vehicle restrictions that affect delivery or collection.

Confirmation

The package, dates, delivery charge, collection arrangements and any applicable deposit or exceptional charge are binding only once confirmed in writing by Shepherd Removals.
